I have a wide range of clients and I’m always looking to take on more!

From Jazz Festivals and Churches to Heavy Metal bands, Hotels, casual players and life long enthusiasts.

I have been working in Oregon as Certified Piano Technician since 2019. From finding that mystery sound to replacing strings, pedals, dampers and felts to tone regulation and refurbishing an action from the ground up.

When to Take Action

A piano will go out of tune naturally due to the 18-20 tons of pressure held within its 230 strings.

This coupled with natural vibrations and changes in temperature/humidity will effect the wood density, causing the strings to either loosen or tighten.

A good rule of thumb is to tune every 6 months, or every time you change from the heating system to the cooling system in your home.

Certification:

I am a Certified Piano Technician (CPT) from the Piano Technician Academy (PTA) as well as practical training from Artisan Pianos and Classic Pianos based in Oregon.

Being certified means knowing more then how to tune a piano.

A Piano Technician’s goal is to understand every piano and diagnose any problem to produce the most beautiful sound.

Grand, Spinet, Drop, Upright, Studio,

you name it!
